RoamAssist at Work

RoamAssist develops robotic guide dog technology to help visually impaired people navigate complex public spaces more independently. Our work spans transportation hubs, healthcare environments, and tourist attractions, where the robot is tested with real users to improve safety, accessibility, and everyday mobility.

Public Transportation

Demo period: July 2024

Recently, we tested RoamAssist’s robotic guide dog prototype at a MRT station with a visually impaired staff member. In the demo, the robot guided him from the train station to his office, demonstrating how robotic guidance can support safer and more independent daily travel.

Tourist Attraction
Demo period:  March 2026

Recently in March, RoamAssist’s robotic guide dog was tested at Gardens by the Bay, one of Singapore’s most popular tourist attractions.

Hospital
Test period: March 2026

Recently, we tested RoamAssist’s robotic guide dog prototype at a local hospital. In the demo, the robot guided a visually impaired user through the clinic environment, supporting navigation from key arrival points to service areas and showing how robotic guidance can improve accessibility in healthcare settings.
